Simon has some thirteen years experience advising companies and other organisations from start-ups to multi-nationals. During that time, he has helped raise funds, improved marketing strategies, developed business plans and advised on strategic locational issues. Clients have included household names such as IBM, Xerox, Ford and Ask.
Simon Paul has an analytical mind that is brilliant at thinking laterally or, to put it another way - out of the box! He enjoys working with business owners to come up with innovative business ideas or solutions to issues.
Some previous projects include: 2007: Peerless Guitars Europe Ltd – from pre-start up, assisted this pan-European guitar distributor with strategy, business planning and financial management. The business now has a UK network of c50 dealers and distributors in 5 key European countries. 2003: Maxitech.biz Ltd – advised on the business plan, brokered initial finance and advised on PR strategy for this computer recycler. 2000: Made a significant contribution to a decision by a major Japanese multinational to retain its EMEA headquarters in London. 1992: Transworld Leisure doo – established this property marketing and sales company in Belgrade, Serbia. Rapidly expanded to employ c100 across four sites within six months. Had full autonomy and P&L responsibility from the UK backers.
